Austin Pool Bros vs Aqua Clear Pool Care
I'm Shane. I live in Barton Creek, and I run Austin Pool Bros with Logan. I wrote these pages, so they are biased. I will still tell you when I would hire the other company. The question that matters is what is inside the monthly price, and whether that truck is actually on your street every week.
Short version
- Aqua Clear is who shows up with a dedicated Spanish Oaks page and a dedicated Tarrytown page.
- They say they have worked Spanish Oaks since 2015. The Tarrytown page lists a south Austin address on I-35.
- No monthly rate on those pages. Repairs and green cleanups are part of the pitch.
- Hire Austin Pool Bros when you want the price online and you are in our named cities. Hire them when the equipment story matters and the route day is real.

Spanish Oaks and Tarrytown are their search pages
If you typed either neighborhood, Aqua Clear is one of the results with a page that is not just a city bolted onto a national template. The Spanish Oaks page talks about summers, filters, and equipment. The Tarrytown page talks about weekly cleaning and green water.
The south Austin address is the fact to hold next to 'Spanish Oaks is our backyard.' A company can serve a neighborhood it does not live in. You should hear the weekday before you treat the headline as local.
1. Austin Pool Bros
- Best for
- Spanish Oaks, Bee Cave, and the rest of our list, when the monthly number is the decision.
- Price
- Online intro price from your address and pool. Chemicals, taxes, and credit card fees are included. The ongoing rate is confirmed after we see the pool.
- Where they fit
- Weekly routes in Austin, West Lake Hills, Rollingwood, Barton Creek, Spanish Oaks, Bee Cave & Lakeway. We do not list Spicewood, Steiner Ranch, River Place, Four Points, or Cedar Park as primary service areas.
On Spanish Oaks we are the simpler price, and the visit still comes with a text when we are on the way and a photo when we leave. On Tarrytown, ask me if the street is on a route before you use this comparison. If it is not, Aqua Clear's page is the more direct offer.
I do not want you hiring someone else because you think we skip the picture or the text. Here is the actual week. When Logan, or whoever is on your route, opens directions, you get a note that we are on the way. If the phone has a location, that note includes how long until we get there. You get another one when we check in at the house. When we are done, the email has a photo of the pool, the chemistry, and a note from the person who was there. The rest of the photos and short videos stay in your portal, so you or your house manager can look back later. If the house manager is the contact on the account, that email goes to them. Turn texts on in the portal if you want them on your phone. The email is already on unless you shut it off.
See your intro price2. Aqua Clear Pool Care
- Best for
- You want the company that wrote the Spanish Oaks and Tarrytown pages, including repairs and green cleanups.
- Price
- Call for a weekly rate. Confirm chemicals, tax, and card fees.
- Where they fit
- Spanish Oaks page says since 2015, and also names Barton Creek, Westlake Hills, and Oak Hill. Tarrytown page lists a wide Austin radius.
Hire them if equipment and a green pool are the actual problem and their all-in number is competitive. A weekly skim quote that excludes chemicals will not beat a full rate just because the page feels neighborly.
Their Spanish Oaks page
Who we would hire
Spanish Oaks: our quote, then theirs in the same format.
Tarrytown: theirs if we cannot give you a route day. Ours if we can, and the full monthly price is better.
What to do today
- 1Match the page to the neighborhood you actually live in.
- 2Ask both companies for one monthly total.
- 3Ask Aqua Clear which day the south Austin shop reaches you.
- 4Hire that day, not the better adjective.
