Question 1

How do I calculate my pool size in gallons?

Accepted Answer

For a rectangular pool, multiply length × width × average depth (in feet) × 7.5. Average depth is usually (shallow end + deep end) ÷ 2. Freeform shapes, beach entries, and spas need adjustments. Use our guide and calculator at /learn/how-to-calculate-pool-size-gallons, or get an intro price online and we will confirm size on the first visit.

Question 2

Do pools increase home value in Austin?

Accepted Answer

A well-kept pool that is clear and swim-ready year-round is a real lifestyle amenity in Austin. A neglected green or cloudy pool can hurt showings and negotiations. Maintenance quality and a dedicated pool inspection matter more than assuming a fixed dollar bump. Read /learn/pool-and-home-value-austin for the ownership and listing angle.

Question 3

What's included in the price?

Accepted Answer

Weekly pool cleaning is all-inclusive: chemicals, taxes, and credit card fees. No surprise add-ons for standard balancing and cleaning. Cancel anytime.

Question 4

How much does weekly pool cleaning cost in Austin?

Accepted Answer

Most Austin-area pools land in a $160–$365/mo band for all-inclusive weekly pool cleaning before your intro discount. Pool size, debris, water condition, and ZIP all affect the rate. Get your exact intro price at austinpoolbros.com/quote in under 2 minutes.

Question 5

What does all-inclusive actually include?

Accepted Answer

Weekly maintenance is all-inclusive: Chlorine, acid, and balancing chemicals dosed each visit; No trip fees, fuel surcharges, or mystery line items; Taxes and credit card fees included — one monthly number; Lowest all-inclusive monthly rate guaranteed, or we beat your current price by 20%. Cancel anytime from your customer portal.

Question 6

Why does my price differ from my neighbor's?

Accepted Answer

Pool size, debris load, water condition, and your ZIP code all affect the monthly rate. Most Austin-area pools land in a $160–$365/mo band before your intro discount. Answer a few questions on our contact page to see your exact intro price and estimated range.

Question 7

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Subscribers can cancel from their customer portal in a few clicks, just as easily as signing up. We'll ask a quick question so we can improve, but there's no guilt trip.

Question 8

How does the refer-a-friend program work?

Accepted Answer

Current customers can share a personal referral link from their portal. When a friend signs up with your link and billing starts, you each save $5/mo on weekly pool cleaning. Your savings continue month after month for as long as that friend stays subscribed. If they cancel, that referral credit ends. Refer more than one friend and the credits stack. Sign in at austinpoolbros.com/auth, then open Refer from your portal menu to get your link.

Question 9

Can I see who cleaned my pool?

Accepted Answer

Your portal shows visit history and chemistry logs today. We're rolling out tech profiles, visit photos, and schedule visibility soon — the same transparency you get in the app will show on the website.

Question 10

Why are your prices competitive?

Accepted Answer

We build density in each neighborhood we serve. When our techs spend less time driving and more time cleaning, we run a tighter operation and pass those savings on to you. Same great service, smarter routes.

Question 11

Who will clean my pool?

Accepted Answer

You'll see the same trained technician on the same day each week, not a rotating cast of strangers. Our crew is local, background-checked, and hired to build careers. We share profits with the team so your tech is invested in doing the job right, not racing to the next stop.

Question 12

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve Austin and the surrounding metro, including Austin, Barton Creek, Bee Cave, Lake Travis, Lakeway, Rollingwood, Spanish Oaks, Steiner Ranch, and more. See every neighborhood we cover at https://austinpoolbros.com/service-areas. Not sure if you're in range? Send us your address on the contact page and we'll confirm.

Question 13

Are you licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Austin Pool Bros is fully licensed and insured. Every technician is trained before they hit a route solo, and we carry the coverage your property deserves.

Question 14

When am I charged?

Accepted Answer

At signup we save your payment method but do not charge you. Billing starts after your first service visit is complete. Your intro rate applies from that first charge for 1 month, all-inclusive.

Question 15

How do I subscribe?

Accepted Answer

Go to austinpoolbros.com/quote, pick weekly maintenance, and see your intro price in under 2 minutes. Add a card or bank account to subscribe — you are not charged until after your first visit. Cancel anytime from your portal.

Question 16

Do I get the same technician every week?

Accepted Answer

That's the plan. We route by neighborhood so your tech learns your pool, your equipment, and your gate code. Consistency is a feature, not an accident.

Question 17

What does "Austin Pool Bros" mean?

Question 18

Can I see my service history?

Accepted Answer
