Best pool cleaning companies in Lakeway
I'm Shane. I live in Barton Creek, and I run Austin Pool Bros with Logan. I wrote these pages, so they are biased. I will still tell you when I would hire the other company. The question that matters is what is inside the monthly price, and whether that truck is actually on your street every week.
Short version
- Lakeway search results publish more prices than West Lake Hills does. True Flow lists $249 a month. Tiki Barrel starts at $275. Blue Science has Lakeway plans with chemicals included.
- True Flow's business listing is Round Rock. Blue Science's shop address on their other pages is north Austin. Ask about the drive.
- Hire Austin Pool Bros if Lakeway is a route you want and you want tax, card fees, the on-the-way text, and the photo email inside the same service. Do not pick a $249 headline and assume the text is the thing they have that we do not.
- Clean Pool Squad lists Lakeway. Pool Scouts' Austin FAQ says they focus on Lakeway and Bee Cave too.

Lakeway has published prices. Read what they leave out.
A $249 Lakeway rate is real if the page says weekly cleaning is $249. True Flow does. It also says they are in Round Rock, they text an arrival window, and one-time and green-pool work are separate. Tiki Barrel's $275 is a starting price from an owner-operated page, weekly or bi-weekly. Bi-weekly in Lakeway summer is how pools go green. Ask which schedule they are quoting.
Blue Science includes chemicals and then charges $179 for required filter cleanings every few months. That is more honest than hiding it, and it means the monthly rate is not the only bill. Our quote includes chemicals, tax, and card fees. Filter cleaning is not advertised as always included. Put that next to their $179 line if your filter is due.
1. Austin Pool Bros
- Best for
- You want the all-in number (chemicals, tax, and card fees) before you call, a text when we are on the way, and a photo with the chemistry after the visit.
- Price
- Online intro price from your address and pool. Chemicals, taxes, and credit card fees are included. The ongoing rate is confirmed after we see the pool.
- Where they fit
- Weekly routes in Austin, West Lake Hills, Rollingwood, Barton Creek, Spanish Oaks, Bee Cave & Lakeway. We do not list Spicewood, Steiner Ranch, River Place, Four Points, or Cedar Park as primary service areas.
Lakeway is one of our cities, with Bee Cave and Spanish Oaks. Hire us if you want one number you can pull online, and a written look at beating a comparable all-inclusive bill by 20% if you are switching. The visit itself is not a mystery: text when we are on the way, another note when we arrive, photo and chemistry when we are done.
I am not the company to pick if you want a $249 number printed on a Lakeway URL tonight. True Flow has that. Compare it to our quote after you add tax, card fees, and whatever their page says is extra. The on-the-way text is not the extra. We send one too.
I do not want you hiring someone else because you think we skip the picture or the text. Here is the actual week. When Logan, or whoever is on your route, opens directions, you get a note that we are on the way. If the phone has a location, that note includes how long until we get there. You get another one when we check in at the house. When we are done, the email has a photo of the pool, the chemistry, and a note from the person who was there. The rest of the photos and short videos stay in your portal, so you or your house manager can look back later. If the house manager is the contact on the account, that email goes to them. Turn texts on in the portal if you want them on your phone. The email is already on unless you shut it off.
See your intro price2. True Flow Pool Solutions
- Best for
- You want a Lakeway page with $249 written on it.
- Price
- Weekly cleaning $249 a month. One-time cleaning from $129. Green cleanup $189. Filter cleaning $129 cartridge or $169 DE. Month to month. Diagnostic visit $149, credited if you repair.
- Where they fit
- They list Lakeway 78734 and 78738, including the numbered sections, Lakeway Highlands, Rough Hollow, and nearby. The business is in Round Rock. Hours Monday to Friday.
This is a clear offer. They text an arrival window. So do we, with an ETA when the phone has location. The limit is the Round Rock base. Lakeway on a Friday from Round Rock can be a real route or a long haul. Ask which.
Their Lakeway page3. Tiki Barrel
- Best for
- You want an owner-operated Lakeway company and a starting price.
- Price
- Weekly cleaning and maintenance starts at $275 a month. They also offer bi-weekly. Phone 512-337-2835.
- Where they fit
- The page is about Lakeway specifically. CPO. They say the cost is known before work starts.
Hire them if you want a person, not a franchise, and you have confirmed weekly rather than every other week. 'Starts at' still needs your pool's number. Ask about chemicals, tax, and card fees.
Their Lakeway page4. Blue Science
- Best for
- You want chemicals included and you understand the partial plan does less cleaning.
- Price
- Lakeway rates vary by size, spa, and trees. Both plans include chemicals. Required filter cleanings are $179 every 3 to 4 months.
- Where they fit
- They say they have many weekly routes in Lakeway, including home, apartment, and commercial pools. Their Barton Creek page lists a north Austin street address.
Read the partial plan before you celebrate a lower tier. No netting and no vacuuming is a different product. Full service is the one to compare with us.

Our pick for Lakeway
If you want a printed Lakeway price, read True Flow's $249 and Tiki Barrel's $275, then get our quote so tax and card fees are in the comparison. I would do that before I collected a fourth tab.
Clean Pool Squad is worth a call if you want their make-it-right promise and a company that also covers Bee Cave and West Lake Hills. The photo is not the reason to add them. We already email one. Pool Scouts belongs on the list if you want their refund. Their FAQ says Lakeway is part of that focus, and most weekly plans are around $75 a week. That is about $300 a month before you know what is included.
What to do today
- 1Decide weekly, not bi-weekly, unless the pool is tiny and covered.
- 2Get our intro price.
- 3Write True Flow's $249 next to it and list their extra fees that apply to you.
- 4Ask every Round Rock or north Austin company what time they actually hit Lakeway.
